Cynthia Whitesel teaches business communication and creative writing for Park University (Missouri). For University of Maryland University College (UMUC), she teaches courses in the Communication Studies and Professional Writing program. She resides in Amish country in Pennsylvania where she works from her home in the woods in a magical rural community of rare wonders. She plays mandolin and sings in a bluegrass band called Crabgrass.
